Biography
I have over 18 years of classroom experience teaching in grades K-12, and I've been a tutor for even longer than that. In fact, my first "tutoring gig" was when I was in the fourth grade!
I love to help people meet their learning goals. I received my B.A. in Communications from Montclair State University and my M.A. in Special Education from New Jersey City University. I hold certifications in Elementary Education, Special Education, and High School Communications. I also earned my Orton-Gillingham Teacher Certificate through a full scholarship to Fairleigh Dickinson University in NJ (Multisensory Levels I-IV and 200 practicum hours). When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my family and my goldendoodle pup, try new foods, and road trip.

Your family's literacy and communication skill goals are my top priority. I work closely with parents and students to develop high-quality, individualized lesson plans that work for your busy schedule.
I offer a variety of tutoring services for students of all ages online through Zoom/Facetime, and in-person (NYC and Northern NJ only).
A portion of every tutoring fee will go directly towards my mission to help support the literacy of homeless youth through Project Night Night.
